Special Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA)

A SEN School in Merton is looking for a Special Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA). You will be part of an experienced team who will support your professional development. You will be supporting Mental Health with associated behavior and communication needs; via both small groups and 1:1 therapeutic intervention. As you will be working with the therapy team, this is a great opportunity for those with a background or keen interest in psychology, mental health and counselling.

· Special Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) to start ASAP

· For at least one academic year (potentially longer or permanent for right candidate)

· Full-time (Monday-Friday)

· Hours are 8:30am-4:00pm

The successful Special Needs Teaching Assistant will have:

· At least 3 months’ experience supporting Special and Additional Needs, especially Mental Health, Behavioral and Communication needs

· Patience, empathy and resilience

· Great opportunity for Psychology Graduates or those with a keen interest in Psychology, Mental Health and Therapy.
