Learning Support Assistant (LSA)

A “Good” Ofsted-rated SEN school in Tower Hamlets is looking for a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their Primary setting, supporting individuals with social, emotional, and mental health and associated behavioural needs. This is a great opportunity for those with a background or keen interest in psychology and mental health to secure a year’s experience in the sector. 

• Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to start ASAP 
• For at least one academic year (potentially longer or permanent for the right candidate) 
• Full-time (Monday-Friday) 
• Hours are 8:30am-4:00pm 

• At least 3 months’ experience supporting special and additional needs in students with emotional and behavioural challenges 
• Patience, empathy and resilience 
• The ability to be proactive and organised 
• A background or keen interest in psychology and mental health
