Special Needs Teacher

A secondary SEN school in Merton is looking for an English SEN Teacher to cover Maternity until the end of July. You will be leading a class of pupils with needs inclusive of Autism (ASD) and communication challenges (SLCN).

School and role brief:

· 5 days a week

· Supportive SLT who champion staff wellbeing

· Maternity cover position

· You will be leading a primary class of pupils with SEN including Autism (ASD) and communication challenges (SLCN).

The successful SEN Teacher will have:

· QTS or equivalent qualification

· Experience supporting SEN, ideally in a teaching environment.

· Confidence in differentiating lessons

· A valid Enhanced DBS
