An “Outstanding” Ofsted-rated SEN school in Islington is looking for a Special Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA). You will be supporting SEN pupils with complex needs who have physical disabilities. You will be working with secondary pupils who require personal care and feeding. This is a great opportunity for those with a keen interest to develop their SEN career.

Position details:

· Special Needs Teaching Assistant to start ASAP

· For at least one academic year (potentially longer or permanent for the right candidate)

· Full-time (Monday-Friday)

· Hours are 8:30am-4:00pm

The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will have:

· At least 3 months’ experience supporting special and additional needs in students with complex needs and physical disabilities

· Patience, empathy and resilience

· The ability to be proactive and organised
