A SEN School in Wandsworth is looking for a Special Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA). You will be working with a pathway of pupils who are working to KS2 level. Pupils in your class will have multi-sensory impairment (MSI) including hearing (HI) and visual impairments (VI). Those with experience in sign language and braille is ideal but not essential. The school is very well equipped and resourced with latest technology to ensure staff and pupils are best supported.

Position details:

· Special Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) to start ASAP

· Long term and scope to go permanent, based on your performance

· Hours are 8:30am-4:00pm

The successful Special Needs Teaching Assistant will have:

· At least 3 months’ experience supporting Special and Additional Needs, especially multi-sensory impairment (MSI) including hearing (HI) and visual impairments (VI).

· Patience, empathetic and a willingness to learn
