Special Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA)

An “Outstanding” Ofsted-rated SEN school in Islington is looking for a Special Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) to join their medical team in their PRU supporting individuals with social, emotional and mental health and associated behavioural needs. This is a great opportunity for those with a background or keen interest in psychology and mental health to secure a year’s experience in the sector.

· Special needs teaching assistant (SEN TA) to start ASAP

· For at least one academic year (potentially longer or permanent for the right candidate)

· Full-time (Monday-Friday)

· Hours are 8:30am-4:00pm

· At least 3 months’ experience supporting special and additional needs in students with emotional and behavioural challenges

· Patience, empathy and resilience

· The ability to be proactive and organised

· A background or keen interest in psychology and mental health

· Holiday pay and pension available
